About the Therapist

I am a Black Male therapist originally from Trinidad and Tobago. I have children of my own and understand the challenges of balancing a full-time career with family life in London.

I am a passionate and dedicated individual with diverse interests that converge at the intersection of sexuality, relationships, trans-culturalism, and the challenges of forming meaningful connections. With a deep interest in sexuality and relationships, I am committed to understanding the complexities of human connections and fostering healthy, fulfilling relationships.

Qualifications

II am a final-year psychotherapy student with over 350 hours of client contact, combining academic expertise with extensive frontline practice. Alongside my psychotherapy training, I have worked as a Senior Lecturer in Mental Health Nursing for 12 years, where I have successfully designed and delivered curricula, supervised students, and assessed practice across a wide range of modules.

Prior to my academic role, I gained 11 years of clinical experience working with clients presenting with complex needs, including substance use, mental health difficulties, and social challenges. This has provided me with strong skills in assessment, care planning, and therapeutic engagement with individuals facing multiple vulnerabilities.

I am also a qualified Specialist Practitioner in Community Mental Health and Public Health Nursing, equipping me with advanced skills in holistic care, health promotion, and risk management. My professional journey reflects a consistent commitment to person-centred care, supporting individuals to achieve positive outcomes, and bridging theory with practice in both academic and therapeutic contexts.
