1. What is online therapy?
Online therapy is a way to access professional counselling or psychotherapy via secure video calls. It offers the same level of confidentiality, support, and professionalism as in-person sessions but with the convenience of joining from home.
2. How does it work?
Once you book an appointment, you’ll receive a secure video link. At the scheduled time, you log in from your computer, tablet, or smartphone. All sessions are private and encrypted to ensure confidentiality.
3. Is online therapy effective?
Yes. Research shows that online therapy can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy for many issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and stress (Backhaus et al., 2012).

5. How long is each session?
Sessions usually last 50 minutes. Longer or shorter sessions can sometimes be arranged depending on your needs.
6. How much does it cost?
Fees are £55 per session. Concessions may be available for students or individuals experiencing financial difficulty. Payment is typically made by bank transfer prior to the session.
Is what I say confidential?
Yes. Everything you share is treated in strict confidence, in line with professional ethical guidelines. The only exception is if there is a serious risk of harm to yourself or others, in which case I may need to share information to ensure your safety.
8. Do I need special software?
No. All you need is a stable internet connection and a device with a camera and microphone. A secure link will be provided to you—no downloads required.
9. How do I book a session?

10. What if I need to cancel?
If you need to cancel, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full.
